اسمرا - بقلم : السفير عبده هيــجى مرة اخرى ترتكب منظمة الإيقاد والاتحاد الافريقي ، خطأ فاضحا ضد الصومال باتخاذهما قرارات تسمح بارسال المزيد من القوات اليه ، ومنح هذه القوات صلاحية القتال ومحاربة ما أسمته بالمتطرفيين الاسلامين وعلى رأسهم حركة الشباب المجاهدين المسيطرة الآن على معظم المدن والقرى فى جنوب الصومال بما فى ذلك العاصمة مقديشو . قرار إرسال قوات إضافية تقدر بأربعة الف جندي في المرحلة الاولى لتتبعها آلاف اخرى في غضون الستة أشهر القادمة ، سوف لن يغير بأي حال من الأحوال واقع حال الصومال ، وسوف لن يجلب له السلام ولا الاستقرار طالما استمرت سياسة فرض الحلول الخارجية ، وامعان منظمتى الايغاد والاتحاد الافريقي على حل الازمة بالقوة على حساب ما افرزه واقع الصراع وديناميكية تطورالوعي فى المجتمع الصومالى بأسره .

Asmara, 6 September 2010 - The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mr. Ahmed Haj Ali, conducted seminar to Eritrean nationals residing in the Australian city of Perth, on the objective situation in the Homeland and the region, as well as the implementation of development programs and the achievements being registered.

 Asmara, 5 September 2010 - President Isaias Afwerki in the afternoon hours today received and held talks with the special representative of the U.N Secretary General in the Somali case, Ambassador Augustini Mahiga. In the meeting held at Denden Hall, President Isaias pointed out that the UN has a higher responsibility to find a peaceful solution for the Somali issue and expressed Eritrea's full support for the initiatives being taken by the world body. He went on to point out Eritrea's readiness to work together with the Special Representative.

Asmara, 4 August 2010 - The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mr. Ahmed Haj Ali, participated in the Mining Investors Conference that was held in the Australian city of Perth from September 1 to 3. In the conference in which a number of heads of mining companies, banks and financial institutions, as well as investors, mining consultants and media outlets from different parts of the world took part, Mr. Ahmed indicated that the development registered in the Eritrean mining sector within a few years is being the main attraction of tourists.
